The region’s story is anchored in Caerleon, a historic settlement on the River Usk just north of Newport, where one of Britain’s most important Roman fortresses once stood. Among the luxuries cherished by the Romans was saffron - a prized ingredient used to signify wealth.
Made from pasteurised cow’s milk and inspired by this rich past, Roman Gold combines a smooth, creamy texture with the gentle, luxurious warmth of saffron. Its natural golden hue and delicately aromatic flavour create a distinctive and indulgent taste experience.
